So who are the team responsible for tending your project and helping your brand flourish?

sean@theseed.com.auMy father always said, “If you can't find the company you want to work for, then build your own.” He did just that, and in late 2000, so did I.
After many years in the advertising industry, in roles ranging from account service to strategy planning to research to media, I wanted to create something as eclectic as my own background. And so The Seed was born.
Ever since planting The Seed I have been continually stimulated by the huge variety of challenges our clients throw at us – no two days are ever remotely the same which is what makes the place so exciting.
The industry has given me a lot so I like to give something back. I'm a member of several industry bodies and committees have been Chair of the Account Planning Group since 2006 where I was a driving force behind the 2007 launch of the inaugural Planning Idol awards scheme specifically aimed at developing young strategic planners.
And when I am not working I captain a football team in the Eastern Suburbs Football Association's sunday competition, spend time with my young family and keep my mind razor sharp by trying to complete the SMH cryptic crosswords.
Jacky Higgins
jacky@theseed.com.auOriginally from England, I started my career as a teacher and worked in schools in areas as diverse as the East End of London (think Macquarie Fields) and Sheen (the English version of the North Shore).
After emigrating to Australia over eight years ago, I initially continued working as a teacher, learning that students in Australia didn't really resemble their Home and Away counterparts. And so, I decided to join The Seed in 2002 and since then have enjoyed a number of diverse roles within the company, from managing the accounts to devising questionnaires to writing debriefs.
In my spare time I have a passion for writing and my achievements include a completed novel and several published articles. I have also recently embarked on life as an eBay seller. To date I have made one sale which allows me be known as Jacky (1) and which has earned me the following feedback from Doreen (146): "Pleasant to deal with, terribly honest and very quick!"
